About ZCM

Businesses and professional firms spend senior time keeping their records, approvals, and obligations in order, and confirming that work is correct.

Our purpose is to give businesses of every size software that does that work reliably and shows its evidence. Their people can then spend their time on judgement and on their clients.

ZCM was founded by a CPA with more than 50 years of experience in accounting, tax, finance, and business.

That experience, the commercial judgement formed through it, and the founder's broad network across the profession and the business community shape the company's direction. They also inform its understanding of where businesses need help.

The founding team also includes accountants and lawyers, who bring the practitioner's view of risk, regulation, and the standard a client is entitled to expect. It includes technology entrepreneurs who have built and run technology businesses. Together the team brings decades of experience in professional services and in taking software from concept to commercial operation.

Particulars of the founding team are provided under a non-disclosure agreement where appropriate.

We are building ZCM around AI for professional services, with governance and compliance at its core.

Our long-term aim in professional services is a platform on which a firm can be built around AI from its first day. In such a firm, a capable graduate working within a well-configured platform could produce first drafts to a standard that would ordinarily take years of practice to reach. Experienced practitioners would review that work before it is relied on, and recruitment would favour judgement and critical thinking.

ZCM does not practise as a professional firm. Our role is to provide the service, and the businesses and firms that use it remain responsible for their own work.

ZCM is based, managed, and controlled in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong is a common law jurisdiction with a mature professional services sector and established cloud infrastructure. From here we intend to serve clients in Hong Kong and across the Asia-Pacific region, beginning with Australia.
